So I'm starting a review of the headlights. They surfaced on eBay recently from anywhere from 70-115 dollars the higher ones come with his kits. The cheapest I found at the time was around 85. So I decided to go ahead and pull the trigger. Once they arrive I will swap them and take pics of my old oem ones and the black ones.

I belive the reason the black lights have appeared is only a cost thing. The company making them decided why chrome the bezzle and just leave it black.
My current lights are oem/blue lamin-x tint/clear cornered by popping the reflector/ and hella brand bulbs.

Here are the oem/blue I currently have. Light pics will come when it's darker and be from the seated position also. I'm using my garage for all the pics.

I'm not doing hid. I personally hate the hid in a stock housing with no projector on any car. In pa they can also ticket for it.

I have found the hella brand bulbs to be the brightest in the oem housing

Thats interesting. I just installed a kit in new Depots for a customer with a Kia suv and it turned out really well. I find it hard to believe no one made projectors for the Cloud pack. Retrofit?

Sweet! I might consider getting them. I am running 6000k HID's and pointed the lens down and inward to prevent excessive light scatter.

Recently lost the glazed up OEM ones on the 2000 Stratus in a TX hailstorm. I got no window damage to my surprise. lol

Its okay because I was gonna give this car a major body overhaul considering all the cosmetic damage it already had.

New chrome lights run 65. And black run 85 so they are a bit more.

hahaha I have been deeply inspired by some designs on this: http://www.allpar.co.../defiance.html

I like what they did to the windows. Same application can be done with the headlights and tail lamps as well.

I honestly don't know how I did not lose a single window the other day. Not a crack or chip anywhere.
